ISO/IEC 29110 Software Engineering-Lifecycle Profiles for Very Small Enterprises (VSE) This standard facilitates the company’s software development project management in complying with internationally recognized standards.

Most importantly, it enhances internal control, enabling developers, testers, and the project engineering team to work in a structured manner and deliver results to clients efficiently.

ISO/IEC 29110 consists of 2 core processes:

1. Project Management (PM)

2. Software Implementation (SI)

Analyst (AN)

– Gather, define, and analyze user requirements (Requirements Specification).

– Design user interfaces (UI) with consideration for usability principles

– Apply techniques for system testing and troubleshooting

– Understand software development and maintenance processes

– Communicate with clients and gather requirements (Requirements Specification)
– Analyze and prepare the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) document
– Manage and control change requests (Change Request)
– Update system user documentation (Software User Documentation) to ensure it remains current
– Verify that the requirements are accurately reflected (Verification)
Customer (CUS)– Act as the customer representative, able to articulate business processes and requirements
– Hold the authority to approve requirements and changes
– Assist in evaluating the system’s suitability within its operational environment
– Possess knowledge and experience in the relevant application domain
– Provide information about the required system
– Review and validate the Software Requirements Specification (SRS) and design documents
– Participate in system testing during the acceptance phase
Designer (DES)– Know the skills in reviewing and planning system testing
– Apply techniques for system testing and troubleshooting
– Design software components and architecture
– Prepare detailed design documentation
– Have experience in software development and maintenance
Programmer (PR)– Apply techniques for system testing and troubleshooting– Have knowledge in programming, system integration, and testing
– Have experience in software development and maintenance
Project Manager (PM)– Project Management: Plan, make decisions, delegate tasks, and control budget and personnel– Have knowledge in software development and related processes
Technical Leader (TL)– Assign tasks to work team members– Have knowledge and experience in the software process domain
– Gather requirements (Requirements Specification) and system user documentation (Software User Documentation), then compile them into a versioned document collection related to the project (Software Configuration)
Work Team (WT)– Have knowledge and experience based on the assigned role in each project
– Have a strong understanding of the standards used by the client or company

 

The software is registered in the Digital Service Account, which provides the following benefits:

  1. For government clients, if the software is to be procured:

    • If there is only one vendor or service provider, the government agency can procure the software through a direct purchase method from that specific vendor or service provider.

    • If there are two or more vendors or service providers, the government agency can procure the software through a selection process.

  2. For private sector clients purchasing the company’s software, they can reduce taxes by up to 200% (maximum 100,000 THB).
